Passionate About Water Safety

I was born in Midland, TX and grew up in the Sugar Land/ Richmond area outside of Houston. One of my first trips as a baby was to Lake Somerville. My family has always been around water and water safety has always been a number one priority. Growing  up I enjoyed camping,  swimming on the neighborhood swim team, being in Girl Scouts, and being in water any chance I got. Ever since I was in 3rd grade I knew I wanted to be a teacher. In high school I played softball and ran track.  In 2011, I graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelors Degree from in Early Childhood Development and Interdisciplinary  Skill. I taught for 9 years for Katy ISD.   

In 2019 I met the man of my dreams and moved to Montgomery. About a year later we got married in our favorite music town, Gruene, TX. I taught in Conroe and soon after had our first son. When I became pregnant with our first son I started looking into ISR and knew I wanted to join the team. I decided I could use my degree, the intense training with ISR and be able to make a difference one child at a time, just in the water now.
