Passionate About Water Safety

I was born in Midland, TX and grew up in the Sugar Land/ Richmond area outside of Houston. One of my first trips as a baby was to Lake Somerville. My family has always been around water and water safety has always been a number one priority. Growing  up I enjoyed camping,  swimming on the neighborhood swim team, being in Girl Scouts, and being in water any chance I got. Ever since I was in 3rd grade I knew I wanted to be a teacher. In high school I played softball and ran track.  In 2011, I graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelors Degree from in Early Childhood Development and Interdisciplinary  Skill. I taught for 9 years for Katy ISD.   

In 2019 I met the man of my dreams on Bumble and moved to Montgomery. About a year later we got married in our favorite music town, Gruene, TX. I got a job teaching in Conroe and soon after had our first son. After becoming a mom I knew that I wanted to still work with kids but also have flexibility for my family.
